Step by Step Oracle Goldengate 19c Installation

Hi,

I will explain Step by Step Oracle Goldengate 19c Installation in this post.

Oracle Goldengate Architecture

 

Download the Oracle GoldenGate 19.1.0.0.4 for Oracle on Linux x86-64 from the following link.

https://www.oracle.com/middleware/technologies/goldengate-downloads.html

 

 

 

 

Unzip file and connect to VNC server, open a terminal and run runinstaller from unzipped directory.

cd fbo_ggs_Linux_x64_shiphome/Disk1/

Choose your DB version, My Oracle database is 18c so I have chosen it.

 

Type the Goldengate home in this step.

Once you install Goldengate software, then start the manager and perform the other prerequirements.

 

 

 

 

Installation summary is as follows.

 

 

Oracle Goldengate Installation is completed.
