ORA-16188 terminating the instance due to ORA error 16188 LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG

I got ” ORA-16188 terminating the instance due to ORA error 16188 LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG  ” error in Oracle database during startup of any instance of RAC Database.

ORA-16188 terminating the instance due to ORA error 16188

Details of error are as follows. We have 8 node instances in the RAC, When I start the Instance on the any node of Cluster, I got this error. I have checked the Alertlog of Database, I have seen the following errors.

ORA-16188: LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG settings inconsistent with previously 

This ORA-16188 error is related with the LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG setting of RAC database.

I have reset the log_archive_config parameter, as follows.

Alter system set log_archive_config='' scope=both sid='*';

Now try to restart the only one node , we will get ORA-16188: LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG settings inconsistent with previously started instance Errors in file /oracle/app/admin/<db unique name>/bdump/<SID>_lgwr_29682.trc:

ORA-16188: LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG settings inconsistent with previously started instance

LGWR: terminating instance due to error 16188 and instance will be terminated.

++ Problem is v$dataguard_config is not updated between instances
