ORA-27072: File I/O error

Hi,

Sometimes You can get “ORA-27072: File I/O error ” error.

 

Details of error are as follows.

ORA-27072: File I/O error
Cause: read/write/readv/writev system call returned error, additional information indicates starting block number of I/O
Action: check errno

 

 

This error is related with the Storage error, so engage your Storage Administrator to investigate and fix storage/FC problems like Storage/FC/multipathing errors caused the disks being  unavailable.
