This ORA-16032 error is related to the value for the specified parameter contained a destination string that could not be translated.
To solve this error, Use a valid destination string for the LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1 parameter.
Create pfile from spfile and change the LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1 as valid directory.
[oracle@msdbadm01 ~]$ sqlplus / as sysdba Copyright (c) 1982, 2019, Oracle. All rights reserved. Connected to an idle instance. SQL> create pfile from spfile; File created.
LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1 parameter should be set the valid directory like /home/oracle, then create spfile from pfile then startup database.
