Sometimes You can get “ORA-12536: TNS:operation would block ” error.
Details of error are as follows.
ORA-12536: TNS:operation would block Cause: An internal operation did not commence because to do so would block the current process and the user has requested that operations be non-blocking. Action: None needed; this is an information message.
sqlplus / as sysdba SQL*Plus: Release 12.1.0.2.0 Production on Tue Apr 28 16:17:44 2016 Copyright (c) 1982, 2019, Oracle. All rights reserved. This error is related with the maxuproc ( Maximum number of PROCESSES ) was set too low
lsattr -El sys0 | grep maxuproc
maxuproc 128 Maximum number of PROCESSES allowed per user True
To solve this error, increase it to 16384
lsattr -El sys0 | grep maxuproc
maxuproc 16384 Maximum number of PROCESSES allowed per user True
