You can get ” OGG-02830 Formatting error with OGG-01668 PROCESS ABENDING ” error.

 

Details of error are as follows.

 

2020-04-24 15:55:37  ERROR   OGG-02830  Formatting error.

2020-04-24 15:55:37  ERROR   OGG-01668  PROCESS ABENDING.

 

Goldengate ( 19c ) extract process is abended with OGG-02830 Formatting error. In this example our source database was 11.2.0.3 but;

 

Oracle Goldengate 19c supports minimum 11.2.0.4. It is not certified to support 11.2.0.3, so You should install Goldengate 11g or 12c for this error.
