REP-0004: Warning: Unable to open user preference file in Oracle EBS 12.2

Hi

I would like to share one of the interesting issue which our ERP Development teams faced. They were running one RDF report and concurrent completed wiht error.

Here is the error and solution ;

Solution :

Copy prefs.ora file from EBS server directory into the application user home directory. Here is my user appldev. Change the directory according to your user

cp $ORACLE_HOME/tools/admin/prefs.ora /home/appldev/
