TNS-01151: Missing listener name, LISTENER_SCAN3, in LISTENER.ORA

I got ” TNS-01151: Missing listener name, LISTENER_SCAN3, in LISTENER.ORA ”  error in Oracle database.

TNS-01151: Missing listener name, LISTENER_SCAN3, in LISTENER.ORA

Details of error are as follows.

TNS-01151: Missing listener name, LISTENER_SCAN3, in LISTENER.ORA

Cause:  The listener could not find the listener name specified.

Action:  Make sure valid addresses on which to listen are specified for the listener
 name in LISTENER.ORA.

Missing listener name, LISTENER_SCAN3, in LISTENER.ORA

This TNS-01151 error is related to the listener could not find the listener name specified.

Check the listener.ora ( under $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin ) and Make sure valid addresses on which to listen are specified for the listener name in LISTENER.ORA.

If invalid adresses exist in listener.ora, then fix them and start it as follows.

[oracle@msdbadm01 ~]$ lsnrctl start LISTENER

[oracle@msdbadm01 ~]$ lsnrctl status
