Hola amigos 🙂 As you know, Oracle Linux 8 published yesterday. With this release, some new features are available but this is not point today. We will make installation OS on Oracle Virtual Box. Lest’s start.
First, you have to dowload Oracle Linux 8 ISO file, so check this URL and choose for your operating system.

If you don’t already have Oracle Virtualbox you should dowload. Ready ?
Open Oracle Virtual Box, add new button, it will create new Virtual Machine.
After that, you will see configuration steps. This is first step and follow the pictures so it will much easy to understand.
Of course we chose Linux and Oracle version and click next,
Chose your Operating System memory size and click next. It depends on your computer hardware
You have to create or select Virtual Machine hard disk. If you have, you just select them. I want to create new one,
There is a 3 different Hard disk type, of course there have a differences but generally use VMDK. In this tutorial i chose the VMDK
You are prompted to size the disk you selected. I suggest to over 20GB.
The area indicated by the blue arrow is selected, click Settings button
You will see this picture, just you need follow the numbers. When you open this windown click Storage on left side, then you have to put Oracle Linux 8 ISO file on Empty IDE
On default selected NAT but you should select Bridge Adapter for connect to Internet.
We are ready for OS installation! Start your virtual machine.
Select Install Oracle Linux 8.0.0, you can chose test option if you want.
Of course select to OS Language,
Choose according to your need. This is a Server installation with GUI but you can try different way.
Configure your installation, chose your keybord for your language, installation destination and etc.
Set your root password !
After the dowloading packages and installation you should accept Licence and user creation(optinal).
Almost finished,These settings are personal prefer,
Skip or connect your accont,
Create an account unlike root,
Login again in normal user,
You are ready for use Oracle Linux 8 !
