ORA-39046: Metadata remap REMAP_TABLESPACE has already been specified.

I got ” ORA-39046: Metadata remap REMAP_TABLESPACE has already been specified ” error in Oracle database during startup 2 nodes Oracle RAC.

ORA-39046: Metadata remap REMAP_TABLESPACE has already been specified

Details of error are as follows.

Connected to: Oracle Database 19c Enterprise Edition Release 19.0.0.0.0 - Production
ORA-39001: invalid argument value
ORA-39046: Metadata remap REMAP_TABLESPACE has already been specified.

The ORA-39046 error is related with the You remapped the same tablespace twice. Please check the used syntax.

To solve this error, Check and Fix the Syntax. You should remove the duplicate Tablespace remap in the impdp command.

The error:

ORA-39046: Metadata remap REMAP_TABLESPACE has already been specified does not occur, if you correctly specified the tablespaces names in REMAP_TABLESPACE parameter. Also the target tablespace/schema should exist in target database.

REMAP_TABLESPACE=
...,
<TABLESPACE_NAME>,     <<<<<-----  The tablespace specified here ...
...
<TABLESPACE_NAME>,     <<<<<-----  ... is the same tablespace specified here
...

Remove the duplicates specified with parameter REMAP_TABLESPACE and import works.
