ORA-27486: insufficient privileges

Hi,

Sometimes You can get “ORA-27486: insufficient privileges ” error.

Details of error are as follows.

ORA-27486: insufficient privileges

exec DBMS_SCHEDULER.create_job

ORA-27486: insufficient privileges
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_ISCHED", line 99
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SCHEDULER", line 268
ORA-06512: at line 2

This error is related with the user priviliges.  Grant the priviliges for the related user as follows.

grant execute on DBMS_SCHEDULER to USERNAME;
grant create job to USERNAME;
