ORA-04023: Object could not be validated or authorized

I got ” ORA-04023: Object could not be validated or authorized ”  error in Oracle database.

Details of error are as follows.

ORA-04023: Object could not be validated or authorized

Cause: A number of attempts were made to validate or authorize an object but failed.

Action: Please report this error to Oracle Support Services.

 

 

Object could not be validated or authorized

This ORA-01405 errors are related with the number of attempts were made to validate or authorize an object but failed.

To solve this error, you can try to flush both shared pool and buffer pool as follows.

SQL> alter system flush buffer_cache;

SQL> alter system flush shared_pool;

Or go to $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin directory, and run the utldtchk.sql.

 

Run following script to find out the objects which are having timestamp discrepancies.

This script is available from 11g onwards.

 

Recompile all the objects manually returned by this script.

It will remove the timestamp inconsistency in data dictionary and resolve this issue.

 

 

If your problem is not solved, then create a Service Request to Oracle, and report this error to Oracle Support Services.
