OGG-02039 Failed to set logmining server parameter MAX_SGA_SIZE to value

I got ” OGG-02039 Failed to set logmining server parameter MAX_SGA_SIZE to value ” error in Oracle database.

 

OGG-02039 Failed to set logmining server parameter MAX_SGA_SIZE to value

Details of error are as follows.

OGG-02039 Failed to set logmining server parameter MAX_SGA_SIZE to value 1000

 

 

 

When starting the Extracts for the first time after installation failing with below error.

ERROR OGG-02039 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Oracle, NMS1AAX.prm: Failed to set logmining server parameter _LOGMINER_GET_CTAS_DML to value N.
ERROR OGG-02042 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Oracle, NMS1AAX.prm: OCI Error 26,895.
ERROR OGG-01668 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Oracle, NMS1AAX.prm: PROCESS ABENDING.

 

Pleas add parameter to extract to set the PARALLELISM parameter

TRANLOGOPTIONS INTEGRATEDPARAMS PARALLELISM #

 

ORA-23605: invalid value “” for GoldenGate parameter PARALLELISM

The default for PARALLELISM was changed from 0 to 2, but Standard Edition does not allow a value > 1

 

Apply following RDBMS bug fix

Bug 29374604 – IE not starting against 18c Oracle RDBMS Standard Edition.

 

To solve this error, increase the streams_pool_size as follows.

SQL> show parameter streams_pool

NAME                                 TYPE        VALUE
———————————— ———– ——————————
streams_pool_size                    big integer 100M

 

SQL> alter system set streams_pool_size =1000M scope=both sid='*';

System altered.




SQL> show parameter streams_pool_size;

NAME                                 TYPE        VALUE
------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------

streams_pool_size                    big integer 1000M

SQL>
