Mount.nfs: Connection timed out during Mount NFS Directory

I will explain Mount.nfs: Connection timed out during Mount NFS Directory error in this post.

Mount.nfs: Connection timed out

I have ExaBackup directory on QNAP storage, When i mount this directory to Exadata, I got the following error.

[root@msdbdbadm01 ~]# mount -t nfs 192.168.63.34:/ExaBackup /backup

mount.nfs: Connection timed out
[root@msdbdbadm01 ~]#

Normally I can mount this directory to Exadata with this command, but now it is not working and giving this error.

I have checked that the firewall is blocking our NFS server or not using Ping and telnet command.

[root@msdbdbadm01 ~]# ping 192.168.63.34
PING 192.168.63.34 (192.168.63.34) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 192.168.63.34: icmp_seq=1 ttl=63 time=0.186 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.63.34: icmp_seq=2 ttl=63 time=0.217 ms

rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 0.186/0.201/0.217/0.021 ms
[root@msdbdbadm01 ~]#

The Exadata server access the QNAP successfully, then I have understand that my error is related with the User permission, When i try to mount the directory with Admin user, I have seen that directory is mounted successfully as follows.

mount -t cifs -o sec=ntlm,noperm,rsize=32768,wsize=32768,username=admin,password=123456aa,uid=root '\\192.168.63.34\ExaBackup' /backup

[root@msdbdbadm01 ~]# mount -t cifs -o sec=ntlm,noperm,rsize=32768,wsize=32768,username=admin,password=123456aa,uid=root '\\192.168.63.34\ExaBackup' /backup
