You can get ” ./ggsci: error while loading shared libraries: libnnz18.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory” error during Goldengate 19c installation for 18c RDBMS.
When you login Goldengate via ggsci, you can get the following error.
./ggsci: error while loading shared libraries: libnnz18.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
To solve this problem, create soft link for the libnnz18.so package as follows.
ln -s /u01/app18c/lib/libnnz18.so libnnz18.so
After creating this soft link, you can get the following error also.
Create soft link for libclntsh.so.18.1 also.
./ggsci: error while loading shared libraries: libclntsh.so.18.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ln -s /u01/app18c/lib/libclntsh.so.18.1 libclntsh.so.18.1
After creating this soft links, you can get the following error also.
./ggsci: error while loading shared libraries: libclntshcore.so.18.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ln -s /u01/app18c/lib/libclntshcore.so.18.1 libclntshcore.so.18.1
Once you created the soft links, you can login Goldengate as follows.
[ggate@MSD GG19cFor18cDB]$ ggsci Oracle GoldenGate Command Interpreter for Oracle Version 19.1.0.0.4 OGGCORE_19.1.0.0.0_PLATFORMS_191017.1054_FBO Linux, x64, 64bit (optimized), Oracle 18c on Oct 18 2019 04:08:38 Operating system character set identified as UTF-8. Copyright (C) 1995, 2019, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved. GGSCI (MSD) 1>
