Error in invoking target ‘mkldflags ntcontab.o nnfgt.o’ of makefile error During Grid Installation

Sometimes You can get “Error in invoking target ‘mkldflags ntcontab.o nnfgt.o’ of makefile ” error During Grid Installation

 

Check related logfile.

I saw “listener is currently in use by other software on this computer” and Error in invoking target ‘mkldflags ntcontab.o nnfgt.o’ of makefile error During Grid Installation error from logfile.

 

 

 

Check your IP adress.

192.168.1.7

Check your /etc/hosts file.

192.168.1.8 solaris             -> incorrect ip

192.168.1.7 solaris             -> correct ip

 

 

Once you fix the incorrect IP with correct IP, error has been solved.

 

Or The issue is due to 32-bit missing RPMs on 64-bit Linux Server.

It is due to missing mandatory 32-bit RPMs :

Perform the Install/Clone again after installing the above 32-bit RPMs.
