Alter System Flush shared_pool
Shared Pool is an important memory area used in the vast majority of database operations. Because the query of all the transactions, their execution plans (work plans), the parsed and compiled PL/SQL codes are always stored in this memory area. The shared pool area consists of the following components.
Flush Shared Pool
Sometimes, you may want to clear all data from the shared pool, to Clear all data from shared pool, you need to run flush the shared pool.
For single instances:
SQL> alter system flush shared_pool;
For RAC Environment:
alter system flush shared_pool global;
You can check objects in the library cache as follows.
SELECT owner, namespace, type, name, sharable_mem FROM v$db_object_cache ORDER BY sharable_mem;
